Police in Nigeria have arrested a 36-year-old woman in Anambra State over allegations of sexually exploiting her children and distributing abusive material involving one of them.
The suspect, identified as Anulika Onyeanusia, was arrested on Friday in Onitsha. Police say they also rescued four children aged two, three, six and nine from the residence.
According to Nigeria's Premium Times, police recovered sex toys and other items from the woman's home as investigations into the allegations continue.

During questioning, Onyeanusia reportedly admitted sending material involving her eight-year-old daughter to a foreign man through WhatsApp and receiving payments in US dollars.
She reportedly told investigators that she received varying amounts of money, with her highest reported payment reaching 700 US dollars.
The suspect allegedly claimed that she had seen other Nigerian women engaging in similar activities on social media. Police have indicated that she may be required to assist investigators in identifying other people involved.
Authorities are continuing with investigations, while child protection advocates are urging the public never to seek, share, download or circulate abusive material involving children. Anyone who encounters such material should report it to the relevant authorities and avoid further distribution.
