The 2026 Maseko Ngoni Mhlangano Cultural Festival continues to attracts various stakeholders as the the festival takes another shape on day 3 in Ntcheu District.
The Maseko Ngoni Mhlangano cultural festival commenced on Monday as part of preserving Ngoni Culture.
One of the participants, Seed-Co Malawi, says it is using the cultural gathering as an opportunity to educate farmers about genuine and suitable seed varieties ahead of this year’s farming season.
The company is also encouraging farmers to be cautious when purchasing seeds to avoid falling victim to counterfeit products. Other companies participating in the festival include NBS Bank and Sunny Money among others, which are showcasing their products and services to festival attendees.

Apart from the companies, various vendors are also selling a wide range of goods, including traditional Ngoni clothing, food and other merchandise. Health service providers are also present at the festival grounds, offering medical services to people who may require assistance.
The Maseko Ngoni Mhlangano cultural festival is held annually. This year’s event is taking place from 31 August to 5 September 2026 at Nkolimbo in Ntcheu District, under the theme “In Unity There Is Strength.” The 2026 Maseko Ngoni Mhlangano Cultural Festival has attracted companies, vendors, farmers and health-service providers as it enters its third day at Nkolimbo in Ntcheu District.
The annual festival, which began on Monday, is being held from 31 August to 5 September under the theme, “In Unity There Is Strength.”

The aim is to preserve and promote Ngoni culture. Seed-Co Malawi is using the gathering to educate farmers about genuine and suitable seed varieties ahead of the 2026/27 farming season.
The company is also urging farmers to verify seed products carefully to avoid counterfeit supplies. Other participating organisations, including NBS Bank and SunnyMoney, are displaying their products and services. Vendors are selling traditional Ngoni clothing, food and other merchandise, while health-service providers are offering medical assistance to festival attendees.
The festival continues to serve as both a cultural celebration and a platform for stakeholders to engage with communities on agriculture, financial services, commerce and health.
